*It was an interesting conclusion to a busy Homecoming Week with a lightning/rain postponed varsity football game and a soggy golf course for the home cross country invite.

The varsity football game will be played tonight (October 7th) with a 7:00 start.  It will be free admission and we encourage fans to come out and finish off the extended Homecoming Week by cheering the boys on to an important district win.

*Last minute course changes at the golf course allowed the cross country meet to occur.  It caused some confusion but it ended up being a good day to run and both Cadet squads performed very well.  The Crestwood girls team placed 1st and the boys team was 3rd.  I want to thank all of the parental volunteers that helped make the day a success.  Your support of Crestwood Cross Country is greatly appreciated.

*Over the weekend, the varsity volleyball team traveled to Waverly for a tournament where they competed against some of the best competition in Northeast Iowa.  This tournament should help prepare them for tournament competition approaching.

*This week continues to be busy as all jr. high and high school teams are in action.
