    • Jr. High Boys Track at Waukon - cancelled
  • Friday, May 2 - New Meet for both the Jr. High Girls and Boys at Waukon - 4:15 start - this meet was added thanks to Waukon to help make up for some lost meets
    • Also, next Thursday, we have turned our boys jr. high meet into a Co-Ed Meet to make up for lost meets for the girls
    • All A.D.'s in the conference are doing their best to organize some makeup meets to make up for lost meets before the season runs out
The weather looks to be improving...the girls golf team will be at Decorah today for a meet and back at Decorah tomorrow for a tournament.  The boys golf team also travels to Charles City today for a meet.  Good luck linksters!!

Crestwood Co-Ed Track Highlights...At the Co-Ed Meet last night (Thursday), both the girls and boys competed well against solid competition.  The girls placed third as a team, just 13 points behind the winner, New Hampton.  The boys placed fourth as South Winn. won the meet.  It really was a decent night to run despite the cool conditions, and the meet ran very smoothly thanks to the great workers and officials.  It was only the fourth outdoor meet for the Cadet girls and boys, and hopefully they can get caught up the next week.
  • During the Co-Ed Meet we also honored 20 seniors competing in their last home track meet.  This senior class has always been a high participation group and this is the most seniors we have ever honored at a senior track recognition night.
    • I personally want to thank my senior track girls for all of their hard work and dedication.  This group over their four years have helped to elevate the Crestwood girls track program to one of the best in the conference having placed 3rd at the conference meet the last two years and 4th when they were freshmen.  Most of them have been solid varsity competitors for all four years.  I struggle to find the words to express how much they have meant to me and this program...so I will just say THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • Once again, the Co-Ed Meet was a smooth machine...It can't be that way without the valuable volunteers and workers that make it happen.  Thanks to the community members, staff members, and volunteer students!
Big Things Coming next week...
  • Regular season meets for golf and track
  • NEIC Track Meet at New Hampton on Thursday, May 8th
  • Baseball practice begins Monday, May 5th
  • And hopefully the first morel mushrooms of the year!!!!!
Have a great weekend!!!!!
