Homecoming 2015 festivities started last Sunday, October 4, with the crowning of this year's Homecoming royalty, Queen Abby Kennon and King Jared Bergan.
Powder-puff football, dress up days, parade, and of course THE football game with Decorah, this has been a FANTASTIC week! THANKS to the Homecoming committee and host of volunteers that made this week special! The 2015 Pep assembly ROCKED! Great job cheerleaders!
Monday, October 12 at 6:00 p.m. Focus: financial projections. (This will occur prior to the regular October School Board meeting.) Both are open meetings and the public is welcome.
Staying informed on CADET NATION
Someone once told me "in the absence of knowledge, we make up knowledge." The district sees communication as crucial and is committed to responding to questions and concerns from patrons and stakeholders.
How do I stay up-to-date on what is happening at Howard-Winn?
Where can I go to see the School board agenda's and minutes from meetings?
Answer: Go to the District's website http://www.howard-winn.k12.ia.us/HomeClick on Administration and scroll down and click on "Board of Education". From there a menu will drop down and you will be able find the information you need.
