"Hope and Potential" these are two thoughts, concepts, gifts we give each other and our students. "HOPE" is the belief that new and better is on the horizon. Something good is going to happen. It may come in the next minute, hour, day or week, but it is coming and going to happen. "POTENTIAL" is the untapped energy and thinking within each person to accomplish great things. Connecting HOPE and POTENTIAL creates vast amounts of energy, opportunities, and the courage to change and move forward. There are challenges on the horizon but good things are also going to happen. CADET NATION is moving forward. You are making things happen. I am so very THANKFUL to be serving at Howard-Winn and to be learning with you. Enjoy family and friends. Rest and recharge. HAPPY THANKSGIVING
#2020HowardWinn: CADETS FORWARD!
It is inspiring how teachers are growing and reinventing themselves so as to best serve
our young people. Howard-Winn is on the cutting edge and our story is being followed and recognized at the highest levels. Our rate of change is accelerating as we close in on the goal that the class of 2020 will be the best prepared, most recruited kids on the planet.

Checkout Howard-Winn's story on iBook

Again this year, Howard-Winn has been named by the Blog "Getting Smart" as one of "30 Districts Worth Visiting". The Cadets are number #16 this year. http://gettingsmart.com/2015/11/30-districts-worth-visiting-2015/
Congratulations goes out to all of CADET NATION for your dedication, commitment to kids, courage, and hard work to make things happen, give HOPE and move folks to their POTENTIAL.
