Chris Norton - Motivational Speaker
On Wednesday, May 4th Chris Norton will be at CHS to speak to students and staff.

Mr. Norton is an expert when it comes to resolving challenges and achieving goals. Chris has had to overcome many challenges throughout his life, particularly having to comeback from a debilitating spinal cord injury he suffered playing college football at Luther College. The injury and 3% prognoses of ever regaining feeling or function below his neck did not hold Chris back from striving and living a happy and successful life. Chris vowed that he would walk across the stage of his college graduation, a goal that doctors would have deemed impossible. He not only proved the doctors wrong by fulfilling his goal of walking across the stage, he met the woman of his dreams, runs a successful nonprofit he formed to help others with disabilities, published his book, and is a professional speaker.

Chris has been on ABC’s Good Morning America, CBS Early Show, Fox And Friends, NBC Nightly News, featured on CBS Evening News, ABC News, TODAY, TIME, USA Today, Cosmopolitan, E!, MTV, People, The Chive, and featured internationally across the globe through media networks such as Fuji Network in Japan and Daily Mail in Europe. Chris Norton’s inspiring story resonates with all audiences as he shares his personal story and message that is emotional, entertaining, personal, and humorous. More importantly, his message will spark action, change, and bring joy to everyone in the room.

His life lessons will resonate with the students and audiences long after his presentation is over.

“So many people, including myself, fear failure, it's human. But if you do everything in your power to accomplish your dreams, at the end of the day, you can be proud and happy with how far you've come,” said Chris Norton. “Good things will come your way.”
