Booster Club Concession Stand Help
The Booster Club is looking for three people to run the concession stand this summer for the softball and baseball games. You may pick up an application in the Superintendent's or Principal's office. The application needs to be returned by May 20th. If you have any questions, please call Anna Schmauss at 563-547-2496.
Kiwanis Senior Recognition
Abby Kennon, Austin McConnell, Ellie McConnell, Michael Ollendick, Rachel Russell, and Ryan Wilson were honored by the Cresco Kiwanis Club during an recognition banquet held at the Cresco Country Club.
Thank you Cresco Kiwanis Club for recognizing these outstanding seniors on all of their accomplishments.
Chris Norton - Motivational Speaker
On Wednesday, May 4th Chris Norton was at CHS to speak to students and staff.
Mr. Norton shared his experiences resolving challenges and achieving goals. Chris has had to overcome many challenges throughout his life, particularly having to comeback from a debilitating spinal cord injury he suffered playing college football at Luther College.
His powerful message will resonate with the students and audiences long after his presentation is over.
Welding Open House
Student welding projects were recently on display at the NICC - Cresco Center.
Tanner Moody, Truman Thomas, Reece Zubrod, Chris Lipa, Mitchell Leifeld, and Bryan Sickles were on hand to answer questions and show off their individual projects. The large picnic tables they designed and constructed as a team were also on display.
