How about last week?  CADET CROSS COUNTRY continues to run well, our VOLLEYBALL team WON the Kepros Tournament, and how about the FOOTBALL TEAM's win last Friday?  The Band's half time show is taking shape, and you just can't say enough about the CADET CHEERLEADERS.  CADET NATION is on the GO!

Discussions and planning is on- going and we are getting close to "GO" for bids. One of the last details to be resolved are the restrooms.  Our architects DLR and construction management team ESTES have indicated that by Iowa Code, 21 female fixtures would be required. This number seems extreme and discussion now is focused on resolving this question.  With this addressed, next steps will be putting the project out to bid.

The SCOREBOARD is tentatively scheduled to be shipped next week, with installation on Wednesday, September 21, 2016

Reappointed for a 3rd term

I am pleased to share that Governor Branstad has reappointed me to a 3rd term on the Governor's STEM Advisory Council.  Being a "voice in the room" when direction and decision are being made affords Howard-Winn the opportunity to share our story and positions the district to lead.  It's an honor to represent and be a part of CADET NATION.

Learning last week at Howard-Winn looked like:
