Navigator
Navigator is an on-line college and career planning tool that all students in grades 8-12 will use to start to building a career plan, help look for colleges, and create portfolios. Navigator will help make planning for the future fun while providing the reliable college and career guidance students can count on.
Students are able to:
- Watch videos and read about all of the different careers you can explore.
- Quiz yourself about your interests and discover how to connect them to careers.
- Get ahead of the game by starting a four-year education plan.
- Search for colleges and financial aid to help you fulfill your goals.
- Build a personal portfolio that’s all about you and what you can offer.
- Create résumés, practice interviewing skills, and look for jobs.
School Staff is able to:
- Improve career guidance by reviewing career assessment results and portfolio materials.
- Communicate with students and parents about important information and events.
- Manage school- and district-specific education plans to meet state and local standards.
Navigator will be a valuable tool for students and staff moving forward while planning for the future. Currently, Mrs. Hartman is in the process of meeting with students and scheduling classes for the 2017-2018 school year.
Shelter-in-Place

The Cresco Police Department have been tremendous partners in developing and maintaining a safe and secure learning environment at CHS. We appreciate their partnership.
The school shares the responsibility for supervision of its students with the parents. The school will support the efforts of parents and discourage the use and/or abuse of alcohol or drugs by their children. The school does not condone the use and/or abuse of alcohol or drugs by any of its students, at any time, in any place. The Canine sweep is an effort to discourage the use and/or abuse of alcohol or drugs by its students, specifically, on school property.
The sweep did not produce any illegal drugs.
