Important times for the day:

The Grand March will be held in the gym beginning at 7:00 p.m.  A $1.00 donation is requested of spectators who come to the Grand March.  All students attending the Prom are encouraged to be involved in the Grand March.  Parents, and other interested people, are welcome to be seated in the gym for this event and to take pictures.  The junior class requests that those persons not attending the Prom leave shortly after the Grand March so that the dance may begin.

The Prom dance will be held in the high school gymnasium following the Grand March, from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m.  DJ music will be provided for the dance.

Juniors, seniors and their guests will be arriving at the Prom at 6:30 p.m.  We ask that those students attending the Prom park in the junior high parking lot so that persons attending the Grand March can park in the high school parking lot.

Thank you parents and business for
making all these prizes available for students.
After Prom
An After-Prom Party will be held at Crestwood High School after the dance. All participants must be signed into the building by 12:00 a.m. or they will not be allowed to enter. Hours of the after-prom party are from 10:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. Once you leave you cannot return. Festivities will include a casino, movie theater room, human foosball, human Hungry Hungry Hippo, laser tag, bean bags, Minute to Win It games, karaoke, Cash Cab, and more.

NEW ATTRACTION this year: After-Prom Party will also include Hummer Limo Rides throughout the night. Limo rides will be available from 10:30-1:30.

Prizes will be given throughout the night, but the large prize drawing will be given beginning at 1:30 a.m. Those prizes will be on display at the high school prior to prom and include mini fridge, microwaves, gift cards to local businesses, bean bags, Corn Hole, Lost Island Tickets, Mighty Howard County Fair buttons, Cadet gear, and much more. Students must be present to win and only Crestwood junior and seniors can win. Food will be served through the night.

All students are welcome, even if they did not participate in the Grand March or dance.

We hope to see you there.

March Attendance Update
We believe in positive school attendance, knowing that attending school has a huge impact on a student's academic success starting in kindergarten and continuing through high school. Parents/Caregivers/Guardians play a key role in making sure students get to school safely every day and understand why attendance is so important for success in school and on the job. Research proves that if a student is not in school (excused or unexcused), these absences have a major impact on their educational progress. We do understand that "life" happens and it is a necessity to miss school, work, etc...  Family vacations, appointments, and other obligations are a necessity. Please continue to call our office and inform us of those absences and be here all other days. When a student misses a day, they really do miss a lot.

Our average daily attendance rate is consistent when compared to this time last year.
We do, however, have two less students enrolled in grades 7-12 than we did a year ago at this time. In grades 7-12 we have 581 students in the seats, compared to 583 this time last year.
