CADET NATION: St. Louis and Nashville!
Last weekend the Crestwood BAND headed south and experienced St. Louis, the gateway to the west city and Nashville, Music City USA.  Leaving at 5:00 a.m. Thursday and returning Tuesday morning, CRESTWOOD CADETS had a GREAT cultural adventure!

If you followed the Band on Facebook or Twitter, you were able to see firsthand what the kids were doing!

It is important to note that the CHS Band performed at the Country Music Hall of Fame!

A BIG THANK YOU to CHS Band Director Jason Dobbs and the chaperones that went on the trip to make this happen for our young people.  THANK YOU also to the CHS Band for being wonderful ambassadors of CADET NATION.

FINISHING STRONG: The 2016-17 school year
May is just around the corner and the excitement is building for the end of the 2016-17 school year!  Field Trips, Kindergarten Round Up, Prom, so many good things are happening in CADET NATION

PROM 2017: "An Evening In Paris"
Lots of energy and hard work has gone into transforming the gym for this years PROM! It will be a special evening for ALL! THANK YOU sponsors and chaperones!

Be sure to have this on your schedule for next week!

A time to pause and reflect
This past week CADET NATION morned the loss of 10th grader Kyler Bina.  This was indeed a hard thing.  It is a hard thing for Kyler's parents Mike and Becky and a hard thing for Kyler's friends, classmates, and teachers.

When something like this happens there is always sadness and many questions, questions of which we may never know the answers to. CADET NATION is a family and in times like this, family supports each other. I have seen this support throughout this past week. Young and old, caring for each other.  Continue to do so.

Going forward please keep Mike, Becky and their family in your thoughts and prayers.

Stadium Update
Work is continuing on the Stadium complex. Next Friday, April 28, is scheduled to begin to change out the stadium lights. This will be VERY interesting to watch! Once the lights are changed, cement work will go forward. Check out the view from the Concession Stand!
